Abruzzo, Central Italy.
Almost eight centuries ago, the province of Aquila arose, with its intriguing architecture and beautiful natural scenery.
Arisen from the vision of Emperor Frederick II, it was idealized as a New Jerusalem. Since its foundation, it has been resisting inclement earthquakes. On one side the fury of the earth. On the other, centuries of a history of reconstruction.
This is a musical homage to the resistance of a people and their city.
