It was built to remember the 99 castles, which contributed for
the birth of the city. The source is composed of ninety-nine stone
gargoyles (men, women, satire, warriors and animals) which
incessantly flow the water. This source is one of the many
mystical stories of Aquila, because the origin of the water flowing
from their stone masks is still unknown.
